Saigon Tai Tai tells a story, through a video she made, about her son’s roots.
Born on 8/8/8 (8th Aug 2008), adopted at 16 days-old. His name is Bryan.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
A poignant addition to The Memory Tree.

Hello. I happened to chance upon The Memory Tree while looking for “singapore science fiction” and saw your blog.
I read your entries and was instantly hooked/intrigued/amazed. Please do finish the story. The Memory Tree sounds really beautiful and by the looks of the pictures, it is.

Wow, thanks for your comment and kind words, Joyce! Honestly, I’ve forgotten and obviously neglected The Memory Tree. Both my collaborator and I have been too busy. Also, since the last story was published in a NLB compilation, I’ve not thought about writing more. But your comment is an inspiration and I’ll plan to do something about it.
